I should have known better given how often I use your converters. If I recall correctly, you like converted pictures, so here is one. Same before conversion. The province mapping looks well done. The only two things that can be corrected that I can see is in Guyana Normal Vic2Guyana gets provinces in HoI4 that should be part of Brazil and in Cyrenaica Ottoman control is not that restricted to the coast.
Other than that, congratulations on what looks like a nice converter so far! EU4 is probably the simplest tbh. Very fun though. With experience in the others you should be able to jump right in with little to no learning curve.
Well, I'm pretty sure buildings in ck2 don't translate into development through the paradox converter which sucks but I do know that development translates into population density and manufactories translate into factories.
With that being said, if you wanted you could manually mod the development of provinces. I just play CK2 from the start. Play for about 60 years then convert.
Odds are it'll still be pretty different from If paradox was willing to do the work, I'd love if their next iteration, or even this iteration of the big 4 were given tools to make grand campaigns not just possible, but as an extra aspect of gameplay. One of our test saves is an HPM game and it seems to work. But I haven't done any detailed testing.
How would that be? The map is very different. Does this converter use a different system for the map converting than the HoI3-V2 converter? That's a very good question. I just loaded it up, and while at a glance nothing looks obviously terrible, there do seem to be some map shenanigans. I guess HPM will need someone to redo the province mappings to get it right. America, Africa, and Central Asia, but removed provinces elsewhere to cut down on lag. Yep, though it looks like it otherwise is fine. So it should be possible to make this converter support HPM. True, its an issue of getting someone to map the provinces correctly and localizing any new countries HPM has added. How did you do the province mappings for this? Though some of the settings got adjusted. You should set up the province mapper like so: Imgur. Where should I get the existing mappings file from? That error is usually a sign that either the 'Source Tag' or the 'Target Tag' option when starting the province mapper didn't match what was in the file.
I think we used 'vic' on Vic2ToHoI3, but changed it to 'vic2' on this converter. If you change it when starting the mapper, it should work.
